This recipe is for Fried Yellow Squash with a Crispy Coating, as shown in the picture.Ingredients* Yellow Squash: 2 to 3, sliced ​​into rounds (you can remove the center to create rings, as pictured).* Yellow Cornmeal: 1 cup (gives a golden crispiness).* All-purpose Flour: 1/2 cup.* Eggs: 1 to 2 (beaten with 1 tablespoon milk or water).* Seasonings: 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, salt, and black pepper.* Oil for frying: (or use an air fryer).* For garnish (optional): Chopped parsley and a pinch of coarse salt.Preparation* Prepare the squash: Wash the yellow squash and slice it into medium-thick rounds. You can scoop out the center with a small cutter if you prefer a ring shape. * Prepare the coating: In a bowl, combine the cornflour, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
